Forever 21 - Sand Textured Finish Nail Polish Collection Swatches

Hello dear readers!

Today, I want to show you swatches of Sand Lacquer nail polishes by Forever 21 which have textured finish. I bought this collection a few weeks ago online. When I saw these nail polishes, I knew I had to have them. I love the color variety and the sparkly finish.

Now, lets see some close up pics and swatches...

 (All pictures can be enlarged)

From left to right: Purple Jazz, Metallic Love, Mesmerizing Magenta, Fire & Ice, Caramel Crush, Blue Jewel and Black Glam.

The price per bottle is $2.80 which is a very affordable price as compared to other textured nail polishes brands out there and quality-wise, they are similar. I found them easy to apply and fairly opaque.
As far as I know, they are available for purchase online, through Forever 21 website and in-store.
One thing to note is that the names on the polishes are different listed online as compared to the actual bottle.
Online name - Bottle label
Purple Jazz - Purple/silver
Metallic Love - Champagne
Mesmerizing Magenta - Magenta Multi
Fire & Ice - Red/gold
Caramel Crush - Burnished Gold
Blue Jewel (same name)
Black Glam - Purple Gold

*On my next post, I will show you swatches on my actual nails wearing Black Glam from this collection ;)

Have you seen or tried a nail polish from this collection?
If not, Which one was your favorite color form these swatches?

Jade Holografico Haul + Swatches

Hello Dear Readers!!

I have an overdue post today showing  you my Jade holographic nail polish haul that I purchased at Ninja Polish. Some swatches below too ;)

From left to right: Hypnose, Verrmelho Surreal, Energy, Fascínio Violeta, Delírio Rosa
There are 10 different colors from this collection, I will take pictures of the others later ;)

I think that at $7.50 a bottle is a pretty affordable holographic nail polish collection. The linear holographic effect is impressive!
Another plus from these nail polishes is the opacity, I only needed 1-2 coats and the brush is very good to apply even coats. I think once I finish one of these bottles I will use it to pour my favorite clear top coat in it ;)

Now to some swatches... No, these are not my nails (My boyfriend agreed to swatch these colors hehe)
Long story short, it was in a day I was feeling down and to cheer me up a little bit, he let me paint his nails. Too bad he immediately removed the nail polish once I took some pictures...

Now here is my swatch of Delírio Rosa, a barbie pink holographic polish.
These are pictures from a month ago. Yes, my nails were crazy long, I cut off some length now.

Now a romantic swatch...? I don't know... I really like his hands, he should do some swatches for my blog from now on!

Forever 21 Nail Polish Mini Haul + swatches

I want to show you some nail polishes that I bought from Forever 21 online store.

I've noticed that this store is selling very cool glitter nail polishes recently and couldn't resist to buy these beauties:

(All pictures can be enlarged)
Names from left to right: Crystal Pink, Tinsel Town, Crystal Confetti, Confetti Crush and Pink Speckled

Crystal Pink: pink shredded glitter
Tinsel Town: multicolor bar glitter
Crystal Confetti: Chunky multicolor hexagonal glitter
Confetti Crush: Multicolor shredded glitter
Pink Speckled: Flakies and small glitter in fuchsia jelly base (some say is a dupe to OPI - Lily I Love You)

Swatches from left to right:
Crystal Confetti, Confetti Crush, Crystal Pink, Tinsel Town and Pink Speckled

I love the variety of glitters that F21 has released. I can see myself frankening with some of these. The price for these nail polishes is only $2.80 + tax, very affordable considering that I've seen very similar glitter polishes for triple the price.
What I don't like is that the names of the polishes are only in the online store, not in the bottles. For example, the multicolor glitters are called "Crystal/Multi" in the bottle label. Please stick nice names on the nail polish bottles, F21.

Do you like chunky glitter nail polishes?

Blog Sale Nail Polish Haul

Hello dears!

I have been into shopping for nail polish from blog sales recently because I have not had time to go out shopping.

What I like about blog sales is that I can find brand name nail polishes at very affordable prices. Some nail polishes are brand new, swatches or used for a manicure or two but I don't really care as long as the condition is described accordingly. I'm very happy with these purchases, the blogger I bought from were very nice and some including extra gifts.

Here is what I have bought from different sellers during these past weeks:

From left to right: Color Club- Tru Passion, Untamed Luxury and Worth the Risque. China Glaze - Custom Kicks, It's Poppin', Tinsel and Zombie Zest.

Zoya - Astra, Kristen, Gigi and Luna. Orly - Pixie Dust, Prince Charming, Mirror Mirror and Rage.

Icing - Golden Rule, Cosmetic Arts - unnamed bottle, Funky Fingers - unnamed bottle, SH Nail Prisms - Blush Diamond (x2), Ruby Diamond. OPI Nic's Sticks - Silverella (x2)

Milani - Enchantment, Garnet Gems, Fairy tale, OPI - You Don't Know Jacques, Wet n' Wild - Gray's Anatomy, Sally Hansen - Rockstar Pink, Maybelline - Pie in the Sky, Savvy - Prince Ala Charm.

I also bought a big bottle of Solar Oil to pamper my nails.

I hope you had a nice weekend!

Super Nail Polish Haul

Hi! Today I will post about the nail polish haul that I got yesterday at the flea market. I called it a super nail polish haul because it is the first time I bought this many nail polishes at once. Since I got them at a very good price, I don't feel bad about it :)

The nail polish brands I bought from were Kleancolor, Nabi and Prestige...

First, take a look at this picture (from my crappy cellphone camera) I took of one of the stands I bought some nail polish from. Ever since I started my nail polish addiction, I love going to flea markets in search of pretty and affordable nail polish. Every time I find stands like these, I look like a child in a candy store ; ) So many colors and glitters...

I got 12 crackle nail polishes from Nabi, these are just some of the colors, they carry 40+ colors of crackle. I must say I'm impressed by the range of colors and the quality of these crackles. I try will to post swatches later. (Names from left to right: Sky blue, sand, new lilac, pastel blue, angel lavender, rose, mocha, white, black, yellow, silver, bright purple)

I also bought a bunch of Kleancolor glitter nail polishes. (Names from left to right: Gold caviar, go bunny!, black out, starry night, grand finale, firework)

More glitter kleancolors... (Names from left to right: Red hot, golden nirvana, green with envy, starry blue, chunky copper, tiara gold)

I finally found Chunky holo black from kleancolor. Why so many bottles? Well, because I will include these as prizes for my upcoming giveaway! My camera did not do justice to chunky holo -_-' I assure you these look gorgeous in person ;)

Last but not least, some cream polishes from Prestige and Kleancolor. This are very opaque and some of these can double as stamping nail polishes.
(Names from left to right: 8, 12, mauve, bumble bee, neon white, black)

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Revlon Mini Haul & Swatches

Hello dear readers!
I hope that those of you who celebrated Thanksgiving had a great time with your loved ones.

Today, I want to share with you the new Revlon nail polishes I bought from Ulta last week. No black Friday for me...Hopefully, I'll buy something during cyber Monday.

I got three nail polishes, Revlon's Glitz & Glam, Cheers and Grey Suede. Now with some swatches...

Glitz & Glam is silver micro glitter in magenta jelly base. It has a semi matte finish by itself but once you put a clear topcoat, it shows its glitzy shine. This one needs 2 to 3 coats to be opaque.

Now, my favorite: Cheers. It is a cream, dusty pink. Why is this my favorite? I'm really impressed with the formula on this one. It only needs 1 coat. Really. One coat was enough to cover my nails, not streaky at all and no bald spots. And dries very fast.

One more thing I like about Revlon's Cheers is that it is so opaque that it works as a stamping nail polish. Let me show you how it looks stamped on a dark paper:
Very nice for stamping, right?
Comments are always welcome ;)

Nail Polish Haul

Hello dear readers!

I wanted to go on a nail polish ban for some time, but I just can't resist a nail polish sale (or any other sale ^ ^') so, I took advantage of the Revlon nail polish sales that were going on at Ulta a couple weeks ago and at Walgreens last Saturday (Both had all Revlon 40% off). It was awesome that I was able to get some Revlon's most sought after colors. I also bought some from other brands such as Ulta, Sally Hansen, Maybelline and Jordana. I bought the Jordana nail polishes at my local flea market.

From left to right - Aloof, Girly, Downtown, Catty, Innocent and Carbonite.

Facets of Fuchsia, Starry Pink, Peach Smoothie, Cotton Candy, Gold Coin and Dawn.

Set the Nude, Scene Steel-er, Smoke Screen, White On, Pumpkin Spice, Natural Beauty, Dusty Rose, Quick Dry.

Which nail polishes have you bought recently?

Big Nail Polish Haul

Hello readers!

As I posted earlier in my first post, I said something about being a nail polish addict, and I'm still one. I wish I could stop but there are many cute colors that keep coming out and I want to have them. It is not my fault. ;)

Well, last week I ordered a bunch of nail polishes from Forever 21 taking advantage of the Labor Day free shipping offer they had. I noticed that they had a line of glitter nail polishes just like the ones from L.A. Girl Glitter Addict line. I can't resist buying glitter polishes so I had to have them. I also bought a few others from them that are not so glittery.
I also went nail polish shopping at two of my local flea markets.

Here, all the nail polishes I bought:

From Forever 21:
Names from left to right: Golden Girl, Black Knight, Glitter Magenta, Penny, Shimmering Turquoise, Pink Sparkle.

Names from left to right: Sparkling Red, Sparkling Confetti, Gold Dust, Disco Ball, Shimmering Purple, Glitter Blue, Sparkling Ocean.

Names from left to right: Gold Dust Glitter, Safari, Shimmering Silver.
From flea market: Milani nail polishes ($1 each!)

Names from left to right: Magical, Spellbinding, Mantra, Glitzy Stars, Bare in Mind, Key Lime Shine, Bare to wear.

More NYX Girls nail polishes ($1.50 each):

Names from left to right: Mushroom Glitter, Girly, True Navy, Perfect Gray.

Cherimoya 2012 crackles ($2) and Kleancolor ($1):

Names from left to right: Immortal, Eternity, Pearl Silver, Bridal Shower.

I seriously need to go on a nail polish ban for sometime, I don't not how long I can resist.

Do you have a beauty product addiction that you can not resist buying more? Which one is it?

Thank you for reading!

Nail polish finds

Here are my nail polish finds from the past week until last Sunday, July 31.
Most of them were purchased at 2 of my local flea markets and a few of them at a nail supply.

I will indicate the names of the nail polish and the prices too.

Kleancolor nail polishes $1 each
Colors listed from left to right:
228 Chunky holo candy, 232 Chunky holo clover, 229 Chunky holo poppy, 162 Metallic yellow, 167 Metallic purple, 160 Metallic orange, 164 Metallic aqua, 216 Sparkling mulberry.

Comments: there are 9 colors from the kleancolor chunky holo collection, I have 6 of them, i have yet to find chunky holo scarlet, teal and black. I really want to try the chunky holo black, I guess I have too look for it again at the flea market (they are only 1 buck each!). The metallic ones, I really recommend for stamping because they are very pigmented.

Nabi nail polishes $1 each, all crackle polishes $2 each
Colors from left to right: Nabi- 50 Rock mania, 8 White, 118 New gold pearl. Nabi Crackle - 9 Baby lavender. Bonita crackle - 01 Black. Cherimoya 2012 crackle- 39 Pontious pilate, 18 Eternity, 17 Innocence and 19 Apocalypse

Comments: There are many affordable nail polish brands that are coming out with their line of crackle polishes. I wasn't sure whether to buy them or not because of the bad experience I had with the Kleancolor Crackle polish which are an absolute fail. When I saw brands such as Cherimoya, Nabi or Bonita collections of crackle polish I was skeptical about spending my money on polishes that would not work.
After trying them, I must say that I am impressed. These three brands are not only affordable but also offer a wide arrange of colors of crackle polish and what it is most important, they are quality polishes that do what they promise, crack! Yes, I love the crackle effect on them. I will try to post some swatches very soon.

Last but not least

Colors listed from left to right: Essie - Nice is nice, Sand tropez, French affair ($1 each). OPI My private jet ($6). China Glaze GR8 ($4), Gold hologram top coat ($3.99). 5 stars silver holographic glitter ($1.50). CM Disco Flares ($1.50).

Comments: Yes! I'm happy that I could find some Essie nail polishes and only a buck each. They were the only three available at a flea market stand and I just had to buy them, hehe. My family says that I'm a nail polish addict, maybe they are right. the other polishes were purchased at a nail supply. I'm glad I went there because I could find the only OPI My private jet and GR8 from China Glaze OMG collection. The rest are glitter nail polishes that I found while browsing the store. I love glitter nail polishes but I'm very lazy when it comes to remove them, they are such a pain, a glittery pain. The last one on the right which is called Disco flares is a lovely fuchsia jelly with glitter and applies wonderfully with only one coat. I will swatch it later.
