Hello girls! Thank you so much for reading my posts, commenting and following. I have 500+ followers! I know most of you have come to know this blog because of my giveaway and that is ok because that's the way I got to know many of my favorite bloggers. I hope that you can get to like my posts :)
Today, I will show you the nail stamping design I did using lace stamps from the QA plate series (QA 13, QA6 and QA 8). My favorite nail art design is lace and that's why I chose to do this mani.... There is some smudging because I brushed on the topcoat a little too much...
A nail stamp trick to avoid cleaning your stamper with acetone after each stamp:
Use a strip of clear packing tape and place the stamper over the sticky side so that the remaining nail polish sticks to the tape. In this case I pull the tape and stick it backwards on the same roll.
Can you see how long my nails have gotten?
By the way, I used Revlon "Gray suede" nail polish for the base and Kleancolor "Black" for the stamp.
Did you already use tape to clean your stamper? What other tricks do you recommend?
I always read your comments and answer questions. Don't be shy and feel free to comment ;)
Looks really nice!!

It looks amazing.. I love the lace :)
ReplyDeleteI love your nails. They looks so healthy. That trick is excellent something I need to quicken my pace when I stamp.
ReplyDeleteAfter drying my clothes l keep my used dryer sheets. They are great to use to remove my nail polish.
That is an awesome trick and helps to give a second use to the dryer sheets :)
DeleteVery nice!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, wow! Your stamping skills are amazing! And girl, how do you keep your nails so long? Mine would break many times before that lenght! Amazing=)
ReplyDeleteMy hair and nails have always grown fast and strong, so I guess it's thanks to genetics that I can keep them this long ;)
DeleteNice nail art!

Congrats on the new followers milestone! It's true that most (me included) knew you thanks to the giveaway, but I think it's who sticks here after it who counts! And I am sure most will stay because your blog and swatches are really nice. Love today's trick, I would have never thought of it! What do you use as base coat or treatment to grow your nails so long?
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment ;)
DeleteMy nails grow naturally like this, they grow fast and strong. I sometimes cut them due to a badly broken nail or when I get tired of having long nails.
Cute mani, I love black lace designs over a nude colour.
ReplyDeleteYour nails are sooo long, I could never keep 'em that long. They would most definitely break before they get anywhere near the length if you nails.
Great tip with the tape, will definitely give it a try.
I'm glad you found my post helpful :)
DeletePretty design!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Love the mani! Looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanx for the nail stamping tip. Will link it to my blog.
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteThanks for your responses to this post :) I may not reply all of them, I mostly answer to questions, But I DO read all your comments. Thank you so much, all of you girls are very nice!♥♥♥♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteI put some acetone on a cotton round and lay it on my workspace, and between stampings I just swipe my stamper over it (and then you can also use it to clean the plate). I don't know if I explained that well, but it's actually pretty efficient! but the tape is a clever idea :)
ReplyDeletei wish i could have long nails like yours BUT just with the nails i have now i get into accidents ha ha
ReplyDeleteand thank you for a most usefull tip
Hey, Your nails are gorgeous! Did you use the konad nail plates or the fauxnad ones?

DeleteThat trick with the tape looks great! I will try this!
