I want to show you a few swatches of OPI Venus Di violet. This nail polish was part of the Italian Collection and then re-released as part of the OPI Colorcopia Collection.
Venus Di Violet is a nail polish that I got from a blog sale.
(Click here for a post about this haul)
As you can see, it is a light pink color with pearl finish. It has a subtle violet duo chrome shimmer.
For the swatches, I used 2 coats for opacity. In the picture it shows a bit of streaks, but not in person. The formula is sheer, 2-3 coats are necessary for opacity.
As far as I know, this color has been discontinued by OPI, but is still easy to find online.
I used this nail color as the base for my Bunny & Cherry Blossom nails.

Would you wear Venus Di Violet by itself or would you add some nail art as well?
If so, which type of nail art would you do?
♥♥Thank you so much for reading♥♥
que boniyo color muy sutil! yo si le aniadiria algun glitter blanco
ReplyDeleteGracias, a mi tmb se me ocurre un glitter blanco hexagonal ;)
DeleteThat color is lovely. And those bunnies are so cute!
ReplyDeleteThis color seems to be a perfect fit for an elegant summer evening, I think. =)
Thank you! Yes, Venus Di Violet is such an elegant nail color.
DeleteThe duochrome polish looks very pretty and I really do love the nail design, especially the picture with both hands! Awesome nail length ♥
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteBeautiful color! Also love the nail art you did here. I think I would wear it with some designs, just because I barely wear polishes on their own xD Too much of a nail art addict haha
ReplyDeleteAs for type of nail art, I'm not sure. Maybe something with purple or blue? I think that would look nice with this color ^^
Yes, a purple will go perfectly with the hidden shimmer of this nail polish ;)
DeleteSince you asked, I would say just the color, no designs. Your nails are a work of art in themselves. Nail art can be cool, but it's busy. In your case just the nails and color speak for themselves, and they say beautiful things!
ReplyDeleteAwww. Thank you very much for your lovely comment :)
DeleteOmg those bunnies are so cute!! Your nails have gotten a lot longer too ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, my nails are longer than ever before :D
DeleteI'm wearing Venus Di Violet right now. I did skittles and layered it over Steady As She Rose and also over Siberian Nights. I also added leaf stamping with China Glaze hologlam in When Stars Collide. I just found this polish last month. I never heard of it. Had to look it up online. Beautiful color! I love finding older gems.
ReplyDeleteOh! I would love to see what you did with Venus Di Violet as the base :)
